Design Thinking & Engineering - Downtown

  • Fasken Martineau 333 Bay St., Suite 2400, Bay Adelaide Centre Toronto Canada (map)

Design thinking is a commonly used, often misunderstood and event at times a misrepresented term. In our next Innovation Peer Group session, we will provide a level of clarity and real-world examples of what capabilities modern design firms can bring to the table, how are technological advances changing the art of what is possible and how to provide what consumers rightly deserve in the design of new products and services.

Our special guest speaker is Dylan Horvath, the President of Cortex Design. Dylan's firm has created many first-to-the world prototypes and products and was a winner of Qualcomm's prestigious Tricorder Prize, meaning (yes, Star Trek fans) they actually built a working tricorder!

Who Should Join?

Presidents, CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, Business Unit Leaders, Innovators, and Entrepreneurs who are responsible for taking their innovation efforts to the next level. Leaders who are looking to de-risk and quicken their technology innovation processes, and have faced some sort of disruption from competitors and/or losing market share will benefit the most from this peer session.

Facilitator: Jonathan Landon, President & Founder of Connectiv Innovation
